This coffee shop and restaurant is located at the top of a hill overlooking the Nan valley, northwest of Thailand. The owner had a large stock of wood. We designed this project in order to use this material in the most efficient way possible. We have worked the many details of assembly and construction so that wood is valued in its functional, structural but also aesthetic dimension. In addition to the architectural work with this local material, we also organized the space in connection with a specific landscape design. All the species of trees and plants that will bring shade to the project come from the surroundings. The landscape and the architecture harmonize in order to offer a restful and fresh place.
